Project Divided is working to bring people of different political views and backgrounds to the table to have difficult conversations about politics.
How are we funded?
Project Divided is currently funded by small individual donations and small grants. We started our project with the help of an Indiegogo Campaign, which you can find here. We have currently received one grant from the HERlead Fellowship through ANN Taylor Inc. and Vital Voices.
As a rule, we do not accept funding from partisan sources. We are not working for any political campaign or partisan organizations, and do not share information with third parties.
But, really...how?
We are a small, two-woman run team, and we operate on a bare-bones budget. Every dollar that has been contributed has gone directly to our living and production expenses (including housing, video equipment, and travel expenses). Don’t believe us? During our time in Smithville, TX we had part-time waitressing jobs at the Blazer Bar & Grill to help us pay the bills!
