Coming together to talk
While much of our work is through social media, we believe in the importance of talking face-to-face (Zoom works great too). During our time in Smithville, TX we planned a free event for the public to come together, eat delicious chili & sides, and talk at each of our 6 tables to citizens and our moderators about what they'd like to see for the future of Smithville. These notes were turned into a memo which was shared with City Council.

That is why we bring problem solvers—from across different backgrounds and perspectives— to have important discussions about how to solve the issues facing our communities and country.
We believe that in order to build community and understanding, we first have to start that conversation.

While living in Smithville, Texas, our team had over 100 conversations, interviews, and chats with people in the community in order to understand people & politics on a more authentic level.
