Hi, my name is Casey Moore.. I am from the small (but mighty) state of Delaware. From a young age, I was intrigued and drawn to politics and policy. In the third grade I even wrote a paper titled, “I wonder why there has never been a female President?”, and have been engaged in politics ever since. Although I have strong political views and opinions myself, I recognize the role we all play in the problem of political polarization. As a millenial, I’ve come to realize that there are so many important issues that our generation will have to contend with and solve, and that I wanted to be apart of the conversation. That is why after graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Public Policy and International Relations, I decided to join Marley and begin Project Divided.
Hi, I’m Marley Duchovnay! Born and raised in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, I have a deep love for my state’s gas-station-sandwich-shop hybrid chain, Wawa. My passion for politics began at my family’s dinner table, where we discussed and debated, and continued to grow the more that I learned. Politics is only important because of the impact that it has on the lives of people. With this in mind, I have become incredibly concerned about the divisiveness of our current political climate. Political polarization has impacted our friendships, families, communities, and government--to the point where we are unable to discuss and problem-solve about the pressing issues of our day. And so, I decided to take action. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and French Studies from the University of Delaware, my co-founder Casey and I launched Project Divided.
Howdy, I'm Rowan Wesolick and I study Radio Television & Film at Austin Community College. I enjoy leading the creation of fresh content that sparks a genuine curiosity in the public with inspired story and picture. My favorite films tend to illustrate growth, fellowship, hope, and a common goal where different characters come together to accomplish extraordinary things.
And you know you're watching a good movie when your family and friends are jumping off their seats in laughter or excitement. The process of filmmaking is an exciting adventure of its own. So hit me up if you want to make something as good as your favorite movie!
My name is Rahul and I am a freshman at UT Austin, majoring in business with a strong interest in filmmaking, screenwriting, and acting. From an early age, I found myself writing short stories, filming skits with my friends, and acting for short films being shot around the area. Throughout m y academic pursuits, I always found myself running back to my creative interests.
Outside of classes, I love playing the guitar, basketball, and scouring Netflix for Oscar-winning dramas.
Hi, I’m Sierra Vance. As a Tennessee native and Texas transplant, I moved to the greater Austin in 2015. Since then, I’ve returned to school, earning my bachelor of science in Physical Geography from Texas State University. I’ve always been interested in film, and I grew up with a camera in my hand. This, combined with my passion for environmental issues, motivated me to join the Project Divided team. Outside of filming, I enjoy traveling to national parks, hiking, and enjoying time with friends and family.
